Clotheslines
I love seeing clothes drying on a clothesline. There is something soothing about it. Your clothes certainly smell fresh especially sheets. I use to have a clothesline, but in moving I do not have a place for one right now. It's a housekeeping chore that is coming back, and a practical one especially in this economy.
Creativity is essential to one's mental health as water and food are to keep us alive. Creativity is everywhere, even in simple or mundane things; like laundry or doing dishes. The art of Housekeeping is coming back. The home is where we can on a daily basis, be most creative. Whether it is preparing a meal, baking goodies, organizing a closet or setting a beautiful table for dinner. Do something creative today and turn your home into a cozy little nest. With clean fresh sheets on the bed, a vase of flowers on a table, fresh baked muffins from the oven, and a sewing, craft, knitting, crocheted, or art project in the works.

Black Birds Quilt
This is one of my favorite quilts that I have ever made. I put many hours into it. I also won "Reserve Grand Champion" on this quilt at the 2008 Washington State Fair
