You can't beat the freshness and the quality of taste that home grown gardens provide.
Here we have broccoli, yellow summer squash, green onions, and romaine lettuce. We have so much it's hard to keep up with it. I give some to friends and neighbors, but we have been eating salads every night. I change the salads and add different ingredients to make it interesting. Like shredding the summer squash and throwing that into the salad, or you can make a coleslaw out of summer squash and cucumber, then throw into that some dried cranberries and pecans.
