The Holiday Tree

I decided that I wanted a tree set up for Thanksgiving as well as Christmas. I had been on the look out for a 5' to 6' narrow tree that I could put on top a table. I found one at Walmart today it's called the "Wesley" Tree and is only $20, so I snatched one up, brought it home, assembled it and went to work decortating it. This is my "Thanksgiving" tree. I have decorated it with fall foliage purchased at Michaels, and gold balls purchased at the dollar store for less than 5 cents each. I still need to add a few more lights at the top of the tree. But I'm very pleased with it. In December I will change the tree to Christmas ornaments. Next year I may even do a Halloween tree. That way I can put the tree up for three months out of the year, for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas and just change out the decorations. Heck! you could keep the tree up all year long and just change it each month depending on the holiday. It's fun and adds a cozy comfort to my livingroom. Click on the photo to see it up close.
