Bathroom Makeover

This is my friend Lorna whom I have known for about 24 years. In my early days of living in Washington. She has a fabulous talent of painting. She painted her bathroom wall to look like old marble. I was so overcome by the richness of the colors that I asked her if she would do my bathroom in the same colors. Which are a buttery yellow and almond background with gold and several other colors in the marbled veins. Here she is at work in the before picture, and as you see in the "After" pictures, the walls are richly alive with a great "Old world Italian" feel. I took some of the pictures with the lights off and some with the lights on to see the contrasts. click on the photos for a larger view. I am so happy with how they turned out. Thank you Lorna.
