The Wild One

I call this quilt "The Wild One." I was inspired by "Kaffe Fassett" who creates and uses bold floral fabrics melted together in his quilt designs. He has some great books out. I searched through four large plastic containers which hold some of my fabric stash that I have accumulated over the years. I found a good color combination that was bold, floral, loud and colorful. So this is what I ended up with. I used the Bento Box pattern, only this time I put sashing between the blocks, which gives it just a pinch of chaotic organization.
I still need to quilt it, and I think I will put a hot pink binding on it.

How fun, what a great way to use up scrap fabric. As always, nice work.
