Lovely Picture

I found this sweet portrait at a local thrift store last week and placed it below the window as your going down the hall stairway. There is an engraved name plate of the little girl in the picture, "Daughter Louise" by artist Albert Anker. I looked up Albert Anker on the internet and found that he was a Swiss Artist, married with 6 children, two died, and this portrait is his daughter Louise, who was one of the living children. Anyway it looks great on my wall. It had a few imperfections but with a little water, and a little paint I touched up those areas. I bought it for $10
Up until now I had never heard of Albert Anker.
